 YOUR FIRST 15 DAYS MATTER

Your focus in your first 15 days is to earn your Shooting Star award... that is to sell $500 in that time.  The focus after that is to fill your calendar with Income Producing Activities (IPAs), get your products and business supplies and learn how to duplicate what your sponsor or upline does.  This is a game of "Follow The Leader."  You will need to plug in to everything that is available to you and know that you are in business for yourself but NOT by yourself!   Watch training videos, read the start up guide, get in Facebook groups and get ready to soak it all in!

 Time to DREAM Big & take action!!

While waiting for your Starter Kit to arrive, here are some things you can DO now...

1. COMPLETE YOUR FIRST THINGS FIRST CHECKLIST (FOUND ON THE HOME PAGE OF YOUR WORKSTATION) WITHIN YOUR FIRST 48 HOURS AS A CONSULTANT.

2. Get To Know Your Workstation!

Play around with it.  You can't break or mess anything up.  It will help you be set up for success!  You should personalize your website-- add your picture, tell YOUR story and make sure you get familiar with what comes in your kit.

3.  Start a Follow-Up System, right from the start!

It doesn't have to be FANCY, but it needs to be consistent! Follow-up is SIMPLE but makes a huge difference in your customer retention as well as getting you comfortable in HOW TO have conversations with people. Use something like the customer follow-up form below to get in the HABIT of excellent customer service!

4.  Find resources online.

There are TONS of resources, trainings and tips on YouTube and Facebook. My favorite sources of creative ideas are on Facebook.  While I realize not everyone is a fan of social media and/or on all platforms, but I do feel that social media DOES make it easier to share beyond your family and friends.

 

5.  Shout It From The Rooftops!

Announce your business to everyone and then once more, louder... for the people in the back!!  Tell everyone why you joined.  Share that excitement.  It spreads!

Schedule 4-6 home or online events (depending on your goals)  in your first 30 days.  It's best to have these scheduled and on the calendar even before you host your Launch Events.  Your Launch events will fill your first month as a Consultant.  These bookings will fill the upcoming month and get the momentum going for you!

6. Get Connected!

Make sure you are on our Director's page, Heaven Scent Rockstars! 

Be sure to download the ConnectTeam app.  It's the info on this website plus you can connect easily with the rest of the Team Scent Society.  This and the Scentsy workstation will help you stay up-to-date on upcoming meetings, opportunity calls and training.

 When your Starter Kit arrives...

First Things First Checklist

2.  Create your "WHY" and ask for help from your sponsor to create your personal story.

3.  Review the compensation plan and set your Goals. Where do you want to be and what is it going to take to get there?  Talk to your Sponsor/Upline for guidance and coaching.  Focus on where you need to be to get your first promotion.  That is all that matters right now.  One level at a time.

4.  Focus on $2,000 in personal sales monthly to create a $600 paycheck right away.  It IS possible, but you will have to work for it.

5.  Find a partner to be a part of YOUR TEAM and duplicate the system.  Remember, it's just a game of "Follow The Leader."  No need to recreate the wheel.  Show them what you've been doing.  Have them focus on a $2,000 personal sales monthly building block and help them sponsor teamies of their own for a thriving business!

6.  PLUG IN to meetings and training tips.  You are in business... trainings will help you hone your skills and bring in new customers & Consultants onto your team. Schedule these Scentsy Calls and Trainings into your calendar so you can be on them or watch them later.  People that Show Up GO UP!!  Remember,  your attitude and actions are what will either create success or bring you down.  Choose wisely!

7. HAVE FUN!!!!  Enjoy the journey!

8.  Order your business supplies and create labels for your marketing materials.  If you have access to a printer, check out my Amazon Tools for what I use for labeling & sample making.  These aren't required and there are a bazillion different ways to do this... these are just my personal choices that work for me.

9.  Share your favorite products with friends & family and on social media.  Real-life pictures are always better than the stock photos from the workstation.  If you don't have the actual item or are horrible at taking pictures, there are Facebook groups where someone has taken a beautifully staged pic of Scentsy products.
